US Submarine Sinks Iranian Frigate IRIS Dena, 87 Dead
The war between the USA-Israel alliance and Iran has entered its 5th day and amid this ongoing war the tensions has escalated to great depths after the U.S. submarine torpedoed and sank the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena off the southern coast of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean after. The Iranian vessel was on its way back to Iran after participating in a naval exercise in India when it was attacked. The attack resulted in at least 87 confirmed deaths with dozens missing. The attack was hailed as a success by military leaders in the U.S., with confirmation that over 20 Iranian vessels have been attacked since the start of the war five days ago. The Sri Lankan rescuers managed to save 32 survivors, including the vessel's commander, who confirmed that the vessel was attacked in international waters.
